Naps for the Tired Ones

The room is silent, save for the sound of soft breathing. Curtains are drawn closed, shrouding the room in darkness, along with its occupant. The girl lies asleep in her desk, her face buried in a textbook and her arms covering her face. She is peacefully asleep and continues to be even as the door creaks open.

A green-haired boy enters, his eyes softening at the sight his sleeping trainer. She was shuddering. With a sigh, he walks over to the girl's bed and grabs the blanket, using it to cover the girl's shuddering form.

The corner of Snivy's mouth tilts upwards as the shuddering stopped and he leans forward to peck the crown of his trainer's head, murmuring a soft wish.

"Sleep well, [Name]."

He turns and kicks off his shoes, placing them neatly at the base of the bed before curling up on the soft mattress. Snivy bites back a shiver and buries his nose into his knees to try to preserve as much body heat as he can. The only blanket that was currently available in the house was being used by his trainer and though he admits that he's selfish, he does care for his trainer's wellbeing enough not to take it away from her.

Snivy just sighs and stares at the fabric covering his legs, his eyes tracing the pattern continuously until he finally falls asleep.

He wakes up to a warm body cradled in his arms and he sleepily tries to recall what is going on. The tuft of [color] hair underneath his chin makes him realize what has happened. [Name] must've moved onto her bed to be more comfortable when she woke up and he probably ended up cuddling her, seeing as she was warm-a nice contrast to biting cold air.

Snivy exhales and buries his face deeper into her hair, inhaling the sweet smell of her shampoo. It doesn't matter. He just wishes that this moment will last longer.
